Excellent book and journal set for beginning readers
I'm using this set with my pre-k daughter to learn and practice early reading skills. It comes with 10 simple readers as well as a journal and some colorful pointers for the student to wear on their pointer finger while tracking with each letter and word.

The books are well made with a sturdy paperback cover, large text size, and colorful pictures. I also like how the back of each book has parent/teacher guidance with how to use the book to help the kid to read and to understand each story. The journal has a couple pages dedicated to each story with a prompt that interacts with the story: writing down new words, drawing a picture of part of the story, sharing a favorite part, and so forth. Some of the books are really basic with just one word or a couple words per page, while about three of them have sentences that are a little more advanced, but build on the same reading skills. They also all use repetition, which is helpful.

This set is just at my daughter's level and she's excited about the fun finger pointers, which we'll have to use with our other books now too. The first couple stories we read together built her confidence since she was able to guess the words she didn't know based on the pictures and then we could practice sounding them out together one letter at a time. I'm happy with this set and think the value is great for lots of books plus the bonus journal and pointers!

Great reading set for dual immersion program.
We run a dual language program. Many of our students come to us with very limited reading skills in Spanish. We have been searching not just for Spanish decodables (good ones are hard to find!) but a set that also includes games and printable worksheets so that our teachers don’t have to spend all those hours creating them. We were excited to find this reading kit. It REALLY comes with everything you need: books, games, poetry, writing note book, ebooks, and so on. I like that we can also get additional books which we will be sending home for that extra practice.

Fun learning for kids!
I bought this set of books for my niece who is learning the alphabet in Spanish. she loves them! She really likes the photos and the little games and activities in the books. The quality of these little books is great. It’s awesome that she is learning while also having fun. Each little book is its own letter. Definitely worth the money!

Great Spanish Reading Practice for Building Fluency
This is a nice little set for helping kids learn to read in Spanish, especially once they have a foundation in Spanish phonics. This is Module 4 of the 4-part series, so it works best as a later step after working through the earlier modules. The books give kids an opportunity to practice reading independently while building fluency and comprehension.

I like that the set includes multiple books, giving children plenty of reading material to practice with as their skills develop. Once a child has worked through the earlier levels and is ready for more independent Spanish reading, this makes a great addition to a home learning or homeschool library.

Durable, effective reading tool
Wow! My kid's ability to sound out words is much stronger than it was when we started this kit. That was the very first thing I noticed: how much this is helping him associate sounds with letters, since that used to be a problem.
He's definitely starting to see the patterns and is wanting to read.

It's great that all of the materials to complete the lessons are contained within the kit. There aren't any extra things we have to find to teach the skills, like you would need for other systems, to help the child make sense of the new concepts. Even the books themselves are made of very good paper.

Honestly, it is quite a bit more money than most other children's book series that promote early learning. It's only fair that I point that out. But I feel that the price reflects the quality within.

Reading tools
Great reading set! I am always looking for the best tools and techniques to teach my kiddos reading skills and this looked so promising. I love when a brand can use games and engaging activities to teach - my youngest would never sit still if I had to use just worksheet style learning. This set is part of a larger set that I don’t have so I’m not 100% sure how it all works together but based on this set it sounds like it would be a great early reading set up!

Much more helpful than a leading brand’s early reader set
I got my 4 year old a couple Step Into Reading sets that were themed to his favorite characters for his 4th birthday. These are FAR superior to those for pre-readers and early readers. The words are short and repetitive, but there’s a real through line to each of them. The illustrations are simple but offer great context clues to my kid. The paper quality is decent - you can see through the pages, but they are large and matte as opposed to other brands’ tiny pages and magazine-quality paper.

We are a reading family, and while my son has known all his letters and their sounds some he was 2, he had no real interest in learning to read for himself and would whine if I asked him to sound out a word.

How I use them: Our standard is three bedtime stories each night, but for the past few weeks, we’ve added one from this set into each night’s story time (on top of the usual books, so he doesn’t feel I’m replacing any of his story time with “homework”). Once I had read each of them aloud just once, I had him help me blend the sounds of just one cvc word from the book next time we read it, and had him fill in that word each time it came up.

What I’ve noticed: He’s been making words with his alphabet blocks and trains and blending the sounds more fluently after a couple weeks of this. The practice really helped him gain confidence.

Excellent Spanish learning curriculum that keeps kids highly engaged!
This Spanish decodable reading kit is a genuinely good curriculum for early learners. The thoughtful inclusion of open and closed syllables, alongside dedicated phonological awareness exercises, makes it a highly effective tool for teaching kids ages 4 to 7 how to confidently read in Spanish. Having 10 different books, mixed with fun poetry and interactive games, does a fantastic job of keeping the material fresh and highly engaging so young readers don't lose interest. It provides a wonderful, comprehensive foundation for Spanish literacy, making it an excellent educational resource for both home and classroom learning!

Excellent!
Our preschoolers love them! the real photos are so nice for our little ones. I love the one word per page setup. It is perfect for helping them stay focused on what a letter is and what a whole word is without getting overwhelmed.

Our pre-K lead teacher purchased 3 sets of these with a PTO grant. Our whole team loves them! The kids are excited and so engaged. They truly have completely transformed our small-group workstations. They fit perfectly with our phonics curriculum and are especially helpful for practicing letters and sounds and reviewing letters in a fun way as the books are just the perfect size! Such a great resource for introducing letters. Super educational and also fun for the little ones.

Great to start young
Fun way to learn simple Spanish. My three year old lives these

I bought these for my goddaughter. They have been great for practicing her reading. The books are simple, fun, and just the right level for beginning readers. I really like the variety of stories and the quality of the books. This set also comes with a writing journal which is great because it includes prompts that match each book.

A great kit!
A great kit! Everything I need for my small groups. The games are perfect for reading partners and the writing notebook is great for writing practice. Haven’t used the ebook library yet because our iPads are not set up. But I plan to use it as a literacy center. The digital reading lessons are phenomenal! They have transformed my reading practice and the kids LOVE them.
